Less data shows than the barcode contains

Why scanned 2d barcodes from virtually any ID show less data than is obviously contained in the 2d barcode on the ID? I have tried a bunch of IDs and all of them show similar.
They trail off with
12345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901

After the ID data so there is obviously padding but why isnt the rest of the padding displayed?
The size of the barcode implies 10x that much data at least.
Even if I try to generate this barcode to look about same size and add padding that padding can be scanned and displayed.
So why are the aspose barcode scanners not showing this data that is in the 2d barcode??

To investigate the 2D barcode data truncation issue, we would need you to provide:

  • The specific types of ID cards you are scanning
  • The barcode reader/scanner software you are using
  • A sample 2D barcode image that exhibits the truncated data

With those details, we can better analyze the problem and provide guidance. Please let us know if you can share that information.
And you are using this Barcode reader app right?
