We are already using aspose JAVA APIs (and therefore have a JAVA environment), is there an equivalent for this web project in JAVA?

I’m afraid but this project is developed in .NET. However, we do have an open-source (Java based)showcase project that you can explore here.
In case you need any further details on the back-end Java API, please fee free to post here.

Actually Aspose.Words for Java is a back-end, UI-Agnostic API that could be integrated in any Java project. Therefore, you can develop your own UI project. Let us know in case of any issue.
